City and school officials participated in a groundbreaking ceremony June 12th for the Mayflower Elementary School storm shelter.
The City of Mayflower will receive sealed bids for a Solid Waste Disposal Contract until August 14th at 12:00 noon.
Specification and required bid forms may be secured at the Mayflower City Hall or by calling 501-470-0244. The right is reserved by the City of Mayflower to reject any and all bids, in whole or part, or award separately, or to waive informalities in bids received. The City of Mayflower encourages participation from MBE/DBE/WBE and SBA vendors.
Mayor Randy Holland attended Kick Start Lonoke – Community Action Plan Presentation, a plan outlining the blueprint for the growth and development of Lonoke over the next five years, on May 18th, where Governor Asa Hutchinson was the featured speaker. Also, in attendance, from left to right were Superintendent John Gray, Alderman Eddy York, and Attorney Allen Dodson, former Faulkner County Judge.
