Mayflower City offices operating at LEVEL 3
*The City of Mayflower is now operating at a LEVEL 3 for precautionary measures regarding the COVID-19.
According to Faulkner County Judge Baker, this means that at a Level 3, there will be NO public access to government offices, in addition to the above measures, with the potential for operating with a skeleton crew or closing all offices.
The water department is still accepting payments via the drive-thru window / drop box.
We encourage postponing all gatherings until April 15 and re-evaluating the situation at that time. Please use live-streaming, conference calls, etc. as much as possible.
The Association of Arkansas Counties (AAC) and the Arkansas Municipal League (ARML) encourage Arkansans to conduct their county and city business online as much as possible. Even much state business can be conducted online.
Citizens may make online payments of property taxes through the Arkansas Property Tax Center: https://portal.arkansas.gov/pages/property-tax-center/.
The Arkansas Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) https://mydmv.arkansas.gov recently rolled out a new program called Skip the Trip. Through the DMV’s web site citizens may register a new vehicle, renew a vehicle registration, and request a duplicate driver’s license or state identification card, among other things.
The Arkansas Department of Health and Arkansas Children’s Hospital (ACH) have both activated call centers. The Department of Health Triage Line is 800-803-7847 During normal business hours (8:00am – 4:30pm), for both urgent and non-urgent calls, and after normal business hours, urgent calls needing immediate response, please call 501-661-2136.
